Final 2015 meeting

Items for 19 December 2015
1.       Ali
Hats galore – stocking fillers for some lucky folk, well done Ali.

2.       Lyne
Has completed these soft gauntlets they were a more brown shade than the photo shows.  Made from Anne’s special wool.

3.       Jan R
Has spun up these three skeins of Romney yarn, she has done them thicker than her normal spin.

4.       Jan F
Two different wheels were used to spin these two skeins of the same yarn, one is a single and the other is plied.

5.       Jan F
Jan has been busy!  This skein is Heavenly Wools yarn plied with grey wool.

6.       Library
A new book in the Library about Pin Loom Squares.

7.       Jan F
Jan brought in a cute dungaree pattern last week and has just finished this smart little outfit, that was quick.

8.       Rosemary
Re-dyed and spun this yarn is destined for the children’s learning to knit classes.

9.       Kerry
From her stash Kerry used natural yarn left undyed for the trim of this lovely Pie Shawl.  The centre is made from the same yarn but she has dyed it a contrasting copper colour.

10.   Kerry
Leo had carded some blue fleece for Kerry and she has spun up a lovely skein.

11.   Memorial
Ray Millican’s funeral was held on December 17.  Ray a past President for four years in the 1980s, was a life member of the Guild and will be remembered by many current Guild members.
