Saturday 28 November 2015

A much busier day than the previous Saturday, next Saturday will be even busier by virtue of it being our Christmas lunch.  Don't forget to bring a plate and your own utensils and crockery.

Kerry made this from hand dyed and handspun yarn, it was originally to give to a family member, but I suspect she may end up keeping it

as you can see it's knit in the round and is stranded colourwork; lovely!

She's also been busy weaving, nothing like a good twill.

Ria's been busy making beautiful baby items

What a lovely way to be welcomed into this world

Diane made this bright and cheerful blanket for a family member, I think we are all just a little jealous

and a different Diane has been making oh so cute wee socks!

Valerie test spun some of the Romney fleece we have in the rooms, so beautiful, you can't beat an undyed fleece.

Joanne's been busy too, some lovely Haunui all ready to knit

and a laceweight cowl in the most gorgeous purple.

Jan made these socks, I love the way this knitted up

and she's also been busy making a beautifully simple cotton blanket

and finally Janet has been busy spinning this lovely autumnal shade.
